We are growing, and with that comes opportunities for the right people to step into a visible, people-first leadership role within GET **IT DONE CLUB.

Being a GET **IT DONE CLUB Host means creating a space where people feel welcome, relaxed and supported to connect in a way that actually feels good.

If traditional, transactional networking makes you cringe, you might be in the right place.

What hosting is really about

Much of your role as a GET **IT DONE CLUB host will be in collaboration with me, Laura Teare. You are never doing this alone.

Above all, your focus is on the people in the room and providing the space for them to connect in an environment that encourages collaboration over competition and leaves them feeling uplifted.

Many of our attendees are new to networking or have had negative experiences with other events. We do that little bit more to help people feel at ease. That might mean introducing someone who has arrived on their own, buddying them up with a more regular attendee, or simply setting a warm, welcoming tone from the moment people walk in.

GET **IT DONE CLUB is proudly anti-stuffy and informal. Our events are not overly structured. We focus on fun and connection first, and business follows naturally.

Who hosting is for

Hosting works well if you:

  • Want to be at the forefront of your local business community

  • Like bringing people together and helping others feel comfortable

  • Want to grow your business through connection, not hard selling

  • Believe community and generosity matter in business

If you prefer rigid agendas, pitching from the front of the room, or purely transactional networking, this will not be the right fit.

What you gain as a host

Visibility. You are seen as a connector and leader in your local business community. Your business is present at every event through banners, leaflets and conversations.

  • Paid to network. Hosting is a paid role, not a favour or a volunteer position.

  • Support with your own business. You are part of the wider GET **IT DONE CLUB community and receive ongoing support.

  • Community. You are part of a growing network of hosts and business owners who genuinely have each other’s backs.

  • Growth. GET **IT DONE CLUB currently runs eight events across the North West and North Wales and continues to expand. Come and be a part of it!

A successful event is not about hitting numbers. It is about a buzzy atmosphere, people chatting easily, and attendees leaving feeling glad they came.

Commitment and investment

Hosting involves running one event per month, with a minimum commitment of six months. This creates consistency for attendees and confidence for you as a host.

There is a £100 joining investment. This covers onboarding, training, resources and support. It also ensures we are working with people who are genuinely committed.

We do not have targets, quotas or pressure around numbers. We do care deeply about values, energy and fit, and so if you are intrigued about becoming a GET **IT DONE CLUB host, then the next step is a conversation or an application. The purpose is to:

  • Make sure our values align

  • Talk through what hosting actually looks like

  • Check that this feels supportive, not overwhelming

  • Give you space to ask honest questions
